On Tuesday morning, the Income Tax Department raided the residence of the production banner behind the Pushpa franchise, Mythri Movie Makers, as well as the home of producer Dil Raju.
Over 55 teams have been deployed for a thorough search operation, inspecting more than eight locations associated with Dil Raju and the heads of Mythri Movie Makers, Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar.
The IT officials are conducting the raids based on initial information regarding discrepancies in income tax returns, particularly due to the significant financial involvement in both films.
According to ETV Bharat, Income Tax authorities conducted searches at properties in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills linked to Dil Raju, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar, and their families.
In addition to his film industry ventures, Raju’s involvement in real estate is being thoroughly examined, with authorities scrutinizing every transaction as part of the ongoing probe.
Following reports of financial discrepancies, Dil Raju’s brother Shirish, daughter Hanshitha Reddy, and other relatives are also under investigation.

The production house Mythri Movie Makers, headed by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar has given some blockbuster hits including Pushpa and Pushpa 2.
Dil Raju, renowned for producing hit films like Game Changer, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, and The Family Star, is currently under intense scrutiny. While Sankranthiki Vasthunam enjoyed substantial commercial success, Game Changer fell short of box office expectations. The raids come amid an investigation into his financial activities, with Income Tax officials examining his properties for potential discrepancies.
