Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin has been generating impressive buzz, especially with its recent cast shake-ups but now as per reports the show is going off air.
For weeks, rumours had been swirling that the show was on the chopping block due to consistently low TRP ratings. A time leap was introduced recently with a fresh cast in hopes of reviving audience interest, but the attempt fell flat.
Even the return of Bhavika Sharma as Savi couldn’t salvage the slipping numbers. After a five-year-long journey, the makers have reportedly decided to pull the plug on the series.
Her return reignited hope as her narrative intertwined with Neil’s once again. Tragedy struck when both Tejaswini and Rajat (played by Hitesh Bharadwaj) were killed, propelling Savi into an investigation to uncover the truth behind their deaths.
Fans had long adored the Savi–Rajat pairing, and their chemistry became one of the highlights of the series. Bhavika and Hitesh’s on-screen romance won the audience’s hearts, making the trio’s storyline—Neil, Tejaswini, and Ruturaj—difficult for many to embrace.
Filming for the final episode has concluded, and it’s believed the conclusion will honour both Bhavika’s Savi and Param’s Neil. The finale reportedly will see them parting as friends, with no romantic closure.
On the last day of shoot, the cast celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony. During the wrap-up, Bhavika was seen fondly interacting with a photograph of Hitesh (Rajat), clearly moved after her final scene. It marked an emotional farewell to a beloved character and actor.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is set to air its concluding episode sometime in the first week of July. In what is expected to be a touching finale, Neil and Savi will toast to her birthday, her reinstated career, and the return of her children. The heartfelt ending promises to leave fans reflecting on a saga that celebrated love, loss, and enduring friendships.
