Pradeep Ranganathan, the popular Tamil actor known for his recent hit 'Dragon', is generating buzz for his upcoming film 'Dude'. The movie, which also stars Malayalam actress Mamitha Baiju, is slated for a Diwali 2025 release. The official announcement came with the unveiling of a striking new poster that showcased Ranganathan in a raw and intense avatar alongside Baiju.

Ranganathan himself shared the poster on his social media platform on May 11th, accompanied by an enthusiastic caption that hinted at the film's wide reach: "It will be a #Dude Diwali in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi." The poster offers a first look at Ranganathan's character in what appears to be an action-packed thriller. The 31-year-old actor is depicted shirtless, bearing visible signs of struggle – bruises, disheveled hair, and a rugged beard – suggesting a gritty and intense role.

Prior to this reveal, the film, tentatively titled 'PR04', had its official announcement the day before.

However, the initial announcement poster did not feature Mamitha Baiju. The makers had teased the project with the caption: "All set for a MASSIVE DIWALI 2025 RELEASE. In Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. DUDE DIWALI. Written and directed by talented @keerthiswarann. A sensational @abhyankkar musical. Produced by prestigious @mythriofficial."

This earlier announcement already signalled the film's ambitious pan-Indian release strategy, targeting audiences across multiple languages.
