Dua Lipa slams Daily Mail for 'Clickbait' story linking her to Israel-Palestine controversy

Dua Lipa has blasted the Daily Mail for a false report claiming she fired her agent over Israel-Palestine politics, calling it “inflammatory clickbait.”

Global pop star Dua Lipa has publicly ripped into the Daily Mail after the British tabloid published a report linking her to a political controversy she says was entirely fabricated.

The September 20 story claimed Dua Lipa had dropped her long-time agent David Levy after he signed a petition against Irish rap trio Kneecap’s appearance at Glastonbury.

On Instagram, Dua Lipa called the article “false clickbait” and accused the paper of exploiting a global tragedy for page views. “Not only was the story completely false, but the language used by the Daily Mail has been deliberately inflammatory,” she wrote. “It is always Free Palestine. But exploiting a global tragedy to sell newspapers is deeply troubling.”
