At a spectacular audio launch event held at Chennai's Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium on Saturday, the highly anticipated trailer for superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Coolie was finally released, ending fans' wait. On August 14, just in time for the Independence Day weekend, the film, which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is scheduled to be released in theaters.

The appearance of Aamir Khan, who plays Dahaa in the movie, was one of the highlights. Anirudh Ravichander, who reunited with Rajinikanth following the 2023 blockbuster Jailer, composed the music for Coolie, which was produced by Sun Pictures. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) gave the movie an "A" certificate, indicating that it will contain intense scenes and fast-paced action.
