Actor Ranveer Singh, who is currently enjoying the massive success of Dhurandhar, has once again connected with fans—this time not through his trademark high-energy presence, but with a moment of quiet reflection.
On Monday, the Band Baaja Baaraat actor amused his fans by posting the most philosophical message of all times on his Insta stories which made the people think deeply after it was shared.
Against a plain black background, Ranveer Singh posted a Hindi quote that read, “Kismat ki ek bohot khoobsurat aadat hai, ki woh waqt aane par badalti hai… Lekin filhal… Nazar aur sabr.” Loosely translated, the message speaks about destiny’s gentle habit of changing when the time is right, while reminding one to hold on to patience and focus in the present moment.
He ended his message by using the folded-hands emojis which conveyed a gentle, prayer-like serenity to the post.
The time of this post is quite interesting, as Dhurandhar is still doing a great business at the box office and getting applauded for the performances.
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who was instrumental in putting together the film’s ensemble, recently gave an interview to Moneycontrol revealing the meticulousness and the heartfelt approach in every casting decision.
In his opinion, Dhurandhar was never about checking off a list or simply opting for the known, safe faces. It was a film that, instead, required the actors to be emotionally truthful.
He told Moneycontrol, “Every single person was a difficult role to cast in Dhurandhar… kuch bhi chhoda nahi hai,” Mukesh Chhabra said, emphasising that no role was treated lightly.
Speaking about Ranveer Singh, whom he has known for 17 years, Mukesh explained that the actor was intentionally presented in a quieter, more restrained manner in the first half of the film. “If you look at the entire first part, he was so calm and so silent in the film… but he is so good.”

Mukesh Chhabra also urged audiences to be patient with the story’s arc. “Please wait for the second part. You will go mad,” he added with a smile, hinting at what lies ahead.
He reserved special praise for Sara Arjun, calling her casting a matter of conviction rather than chance. “She did a brilliant job. She is a great actor. When she came for the audition, we were fully blown away,” he said, noting that the choice was deeply personal given his long association with her since childhood.
