Anil Kapoor to lock horns with Ajay Devgn in 'De De Pyaar De 2', reports

Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan, and Bhushan Kumar will be returning with the sequel to 'De De Pyaar De', which had Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh as female leads. Now reports are that Anil Kapoor has bagged an important role in 'De De Pyaar De 2.'

'De De Pyaar De' was the story of a relationship between a 50-something Ajay Devgn (Ashish) and Ayesha, who is in her 20s. The first part, which was directed by Akiv Ali, saw Ashish (Ajay Devgn), a middle-aged NRI and soon-to-be divorcee, falling in love with a young girl in her 20s. He takes her home and introduces her to his ex-wife, Manju, and their children, Ishika and Ishaan, which leads to chaos.
The sequel will actually begin where the first part ended, as the girl's family is to be informed about the relationship. The film, directed by Anshul Sharma, will be shot in London in June.

A source told Pinkvilla that Anil Kapoor loved the script of 'De De Pyaar De 2' and gave his instant nod to it. And according to reports, the real essence of the sequel will be the 'tussle between Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn's characters in the movie.' He added, "The sequel follows Ajay and Rakul's comedic escapades as they strive to win over Rakul’s family."

Reports are that Anil Kapoor will play the role of Rakul's father in the movie.
