Allu Arjun returned to the silver screen as Pushpa Raj and his die hard fans can't get over their favourite actor.
Pushparaj is one character that has given immense fame and even a National Award Best Actor to Allu Arjun and he proved it right with his performance in the Jaatara scene in the sequel.
Adorning a blue pattu saree, blue body paint, and traditional accessories like nose pins, earrings, bangles, necklaces, and a lemon garland, he pays the perfect tribute to Gangamma during the Jaatara.

The sequence unveils when an emotional Pushpa Raj comes to know that his wife Srivalli (played by Rashmika Mandaan) is expecting their first child. The actor's emotional sequence shows him celebrating and trying to please the Goddess to bless him with a girl child. He also walks on the red hot coals to please Gangamma.
Pushparaj later explains to his wife Srivalli that he did this to seek the blessings of the Goddess in form of a daughter because if they have a son, he wont be able to give him a respectable Family name as he is himself called a 'bastard' by step brothers.
The entire 1 minute long sequence sees Allu Arjun in a trance and his dance is impressive.
The sequence has now gone viral on the net with many fans calling is beoynd fantastic.

About Tirupati Gangamma Jaatara celebrations
The Tirupati Gangamma Jatara is an annual folk festival held between the first and second weeks of May, attracting devotees from all over India to pray to Goddess Gangamma.
The celebrations take place at the Tataiahgunta Gangamma Temple in Tirupati, where priests initiate the festivities with a ritual. The festivities starts with Chatimpu at midnight which acts as an official beginning for the celebrations that continues for a week. It begins with the playing of musical instruments.
The next day, Banda Vesham ritual starts, where devotees apply kumkum paste and tie colorful ribbons around their heads. This is followed by Thoti Vesham, where participants cover themselves with charcoal and wear garlands made of neem leaves.

In the Dora Vesham ritual, devotees use sandalwood paste and adorn themselves with garlands of neem leaves and lemons. The festival progresses to Mathangi Vesham, symbolizing Gangamma’s act of consoling the chieftain’s wife after her victory over Palegadu.
The following day features the Sunnapu Kundalu ritual, where devotees apply a white paste with charcoal dots on their bodies and carry pots around the temple. The festival culminates with the grand celebration of Gangamma Jatara.
