Bollywood's much awaited movie 'Singham Again' has got a new release date. The movie, which marks the return of Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, will hit the theatres on Diwali 2024.
This time, Singham franchise gets bigger with Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor joining the Rohit Shetty directed actioner.
Ajay Devgn, Arjun Kapoor and other star cast shared the update on the release date.
Singham Again was initially slated to release on Independence Day but the makers did not make any official confirmation as it would have then clashed with Pushpa 2.
Ajay Devgn had recently shot for the entire sequence with Jackie Shroff in Srinagar, Kashmir.
During an event on Thursday, Ajay Devgn avoided to give any direct answer on the release of Singham Again. "We are not sure because the work on it is still going on. It is not complete. A little bit of shooting is still left to be done also. So we are not in a hurry because jaldbaazi mein kaam kharaab ho jaata hai. As soon as we are ready, we’ll decide.”
Arjun Kapoor will play the role of a villain in the movie. Deepika is the lady Singham. She had also shot for the movie recently and the images immediately went viral.
'Singham Again' is the fifth film in Rohit Shetty's copverse.
