The announcement was made through a 2-minute 34-second video released at 11 AM as a birthday gift to Allu Arjun's fans. Sun Pictures described the project as a "magnum opus where mass meets magic."

This collaboration brings together Pan India actors Allu Arjun and Atlee. Atlee recently got recognized for directing successful films like Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan.
