The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) will begin the Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) for the academic year 2025. The first-year exams will begin today, on March 5, while the second-year exams are scheduled to commence on March 6. Both exams will be conducted in the morning session from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Students appearing for the exams are required to carry their hall tickets, which are available for download on the official TSBIE website, tsbie.cgg.gov.in. The hall tickets contain crucial details such as the reporting time, exam center information, and important guidelines for the examination day.
In 2024, a total of 9,81,000 students appeared for the TS Inter exams. The pass percentage for first-year students stood at 60.01%, while second-year students recorded a pass percentage of 64.19%. Comparatively, in 2023, the pass percentage for first-year students was 61.68%, and for second-year students, it was 63.49%, marking a slight decline from the 2022 pass percentage of 67.16%.
Exam Day Instructions
- Students must bring their TS Inter hall ticket to the examination center. Without the hall ticket, entry will not be permitted.
- Double-check the details on the hall ticket, including your name, roll number, exam center, and subject codes.
- Reach the exam center at least 30 minutes before the scheduled reporting time mentioned on the hall ticket. Latecomers may not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
- Only carry essential items such as a pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, and other stationery as required.
- Avoid carrying any electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, or calculators, unless explicitly permitted.
- Dress comfortably and avoid wearing clothes with large pockets or accessories that may raise suspicion during the frisking process.
- Listen to the invigilator’s instructions and read the question paper thoroughly before starting the exam.
- Fill in your roll number and other details on the answer sheet accurately.
- Strictly refrain from any form of malpractice or unfair means. The board has a zero-tolerance policy towards cheating, and violations can lead to disqualification.
- Maintain a positive mindset and avoid last-minute stress. Take deep breaths if you feel anxious during the exam.
- Do not discuss the paper with peers immediately after the exam, as it may lead to unnecessary stress. Focus on preparing for the next exam instead.
