The State Bank of India (SBI) is likely to issue the SBI PO Prelims Admit Card 2025 in the third or fourth week of July, as per updates from recruitment sources. Candidates who have registered for the Probationary Officer (PO) recruitment exam are advised to stay updated by visiting the official website: sbi.co.in.
According to the latest notice on the SBI website, the Preliminary Exam for PO recruitment is scheduled for August 2, 4, and 5, 2025. The message displayed on the portal confirms:
"Tentative dates for preliminary examination (online) are 02.08.2025, 04.08.2025 & 05.08.2025."
The results of the prelims exam are expected to be announced in September or October 2025.
SBI PO 2025 Vacancy Details
This year’s recruitment process aims to fill a total of 541 PO positions, which include:
- 500 regular vacancies
- 41 backlog vacancies
The preliminary exam will be objective in nature, comprising a total of 100 marks. It includes three sections:
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
Each section will have a separate time limit, and the entire exam duration will be 1 hour. Notably, no sectional cut-offs will be applied in the prelims.
However, candidates should note that negative marking is applicable—for each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score.
How to Download SBI PO Admit Card 2025
Once the hall ticket is released, applicants can download it by following these steps:
- Go to the official SBI website: https://www.sbi.co.in
- Click on the “Careers” tab on the homepage.
- Under “Current Openings,” find and click on “Recruitment of Probationary Officers.”
- Click on the Prelims Admit Card download link.
- Enter your registration number, date of birth, and the captcha code displayed.
- Submit the information to access and download your admit card.
The SBI PO Prelims Admit Card will include the following information:
- Candidate’s full name and passport-sized photo
- Roll number/Registration number
- Date and time of the exam
- Name and address of the exam centre
- Reporting time and important instructions
Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination centre. Entry will not be permitted without these documents.
