It began over a hundred years ago, with freedom fighter Thakur Bhagwati Din Singh and his wife, Shyamrati Singh. Think of her as the original "superstar" of Madhopatti. Back in 1917, Shyamrati Singh started teaching girls, and soon, boys also wanted to learn. This wasn't a fancy school. This was the first "scene" in Madhopatti's amazing story.
