The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 scorecards today, March 28. Candidates who appeared for the examination can access and download their scorecards from the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
IIT Roorkee, the organizing institute for GATE 2025, had earlier declared the results on March 19, 2025, along with the list of top rankers. The toppers' list includes All India Rank (AIR) 1 holders across 37 subjects.
The GATE 2025 examination was conducted in multiple sessions on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Over 10 lakh candidates appeared for the test, which serves as a gateway for postgraduate admissions (MTech/PhD) in prestigious institutions like IITs, NITs, and IIITs, as well as for recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
How to download GATE 2025 Scorecard?
Candidates can follow these simple steps to access their scorecards:
Step 1. Visit the official website – gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Step 2. Click on the login tab available on the homepage.
Step 3. Enter your credentials (Enrollment ID/Email and Password).
Step 4. Submit the details to view your scorecard.
Step 5. Download and save the scorecard for future use.
Validity of GATE 2025 Scorecard
The GATE 2025 scorecard will remain valid for three years until March 2028. Candidates can utilize their scores for:
- MTech/PhD admissions in top engineering colleges.
- PSU recruitments (organizations like BHEL, IOCL, and ONGC often consider GATE scores).
The scorecards will be available for download until May 31, 2025. Candidates are advised to secure a copy at the earliest to avoid last-minute technical issues.
