To ensure a smooth application process, parents are advised to keep the following documents ready. Schools will require these for age and address verification:
- Child's Birth Certificate: The primary document for age proof.
- Domicile Certificate: Issued in the name of either the child or the guardian.
- Parent’s Voter ID Card: For address and identity verification.
- Utility Bills: Recent electricity, water, or telephone bills showing the parent's address.
- Aadhaar Card: Of the child or the parent(s).
- Ration Card: As a supporting address proof.
Note: Some schools may also accept a child's passport for age verification.
Important Note on Seat Reservations
This admission schedule and process apply specifically to the 75% of seats under the general category (open seats). Separate instructions and timelines will be issued by the Directorate of Education for the remaining 25% of seats reserved for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Disadvantaged Groups (DG).
With the process beginning in just a few weeks, parents are encouraged to start preparing their documents and researching individual school criteria to ensure they are fully ready.
