The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key and response sheets for the CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam on 28 July 2025 can now check their answers on the official website, csirnet.nta.ac.in.
The CSIR NET exam was conducted in a single shift across various centres in India, with over 1.95 lakh candidates participating. The release of the answer key allows candidates to evaluate their performance and raise objections, if any, before the results are announced.
How to Download CSIR NET Answer Key 2025
To check the provisional answer key and your recorded responses, follow these steps:
- Visit the official website – csirnet.nta.ac.in
- Log in using your application number and date of birth
- Click on the link for “Display of Provisional Answer Key”
- View or download the answer key and your individual response sheet
How to Challenge the Answer Key
Candidates who find discrepancies in the answer key can challenge it by following the process below:
- Log in to the official site and click on “Challenge Answer Key”
- Select the question(s) you want to challenge
- Upload valid supporting documents or references
- Pay a fee of Rs 200 per question via online payment options
The last date to raise objections is 3 August 2025 (5 PM). No challenges will be accepted after the deadline.
What Happens After Objections?
Once the objection window closes, the NTA will carefully review all the challenges submitted. Subject experts will examine the objections and, if any are found to be valid, necessary corrections will be made in the answer key.
The final answer key will be published on the same website after this review process. No further challenges will be entertained once the final key is released.
CSIR NET 2025 Result
Based on the final answer key, the NTA will calculate the raw scores and determine the subject-wise cut-off marks. The CSIR NET 2025 results for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/PhD eligibility are expected to be declared by mid August 2025.
