The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2025. The computer-based test is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 10 May 2025. Registration will open on 3 February 2025, and candidates can apply through the official website at comedk.org. The deadline for submission is 15 March 2025.
Application Fees
- For COMEDK UGET 2025 only: Rs. 1,950 (plus convenience charges).
- For COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE exams together: Rs. 3,200 (plus convenience charges).
Applicants must meet the following requirements to register for the COMEDK UGET 2025:
- Completion of second PUC, Class 12, or an equivalent examination recognised by the state or central government.
- Mathematics and Physics as mandatory subjects, with Chemistry or its substitutes (Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics).
- Minimum aggregate score in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics:
- 45% for general candidates.
- 40% for reserved category candidates.
The test will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions, divided equally across three sections:
- Physics: 60 questions.
- Chemistry: 60 questions.
- Mathematics: 60 questions.
The medium of the test will be English, and candidates will earn one mark for each correct answer. Importantly, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
