The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced CBSE class 12th session 2023-24 results on its official website.
This year, the pass percentage of students in class XII is 87.98, which is 0.65% better than the pass percentage of last year i.e. 87.33%. This shows that students were well prepared for Competency Based Question Papers as this year, 40% Competency Based Questions were asked in the examinations, CBSE said in an official statement.
CBSE is hosting its results on the internet. The students can access their results through https://www.cbse.gov.in/; https://cbseresults.nic.in; https://results.digilocker.gov.in/; https://umang.gov.in
Students can also download DigiLocker mobile app from Google Play or Apple App Store - to access their certificates.
CBSE will provide Digital Academic Documents viz. Mark-Sheet cum Certificates, Migration Certificates and Skill Certificates (wherever applicable) through its own digital academic repository *Parinam Manjusha® immediately after the declaration of result.
As per the earlier decision of the Board to avoid unhealthy competition amongst the students, no merit list is declared by the CBSE. Also, Board does not award first, second or third divisions to its students.
However, the Board will issue the merit certificate to the top 0.1% of students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects. The Merit certificate will be made available in there Digi-Locker of the student concerned, CBSE said.
Over 39 lakh students across 26 countries undertook the CBSE Board examination this year. The exams followed a single-shift pattern, with timings from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM on all examination days.
