Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is set to conduct the Class 12 Biology examination today, March 25, 2025. The exam will be held in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at various centres across the country.
As one of the highest-scoring subjects for Science stream students, Biology requires a strategic approach to maximise performance. To help candidates avoid last-minute confusion, here are some essential dos and don'ts for the exam day:
Important Dos:
- Carry Your Admit Card & ID Proof – No student will be allowed inside the exam hall without a valid CBSE admit card and a government-issued ID (Aadhaar card, passport, etc.).
- Reach the Exam Centre Early – Arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the reporting time to complete security checks smoothly.
- Use Only Blue/Black Ballpoint Pens – CBSE mandates writing answers with blue or black ink; avoid gel or other colored pens.
- Read Questions Carefully – Allocate time wisely, prioritising high-weightage questions first.
- Draw Clear Diagrams – Label all biological diagrams neatly with a pencil for better presentation.
- Avoid Electronic Devices – Mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic gadgets are banned inside the exam hall.
- No Borrowing of Stationery – Carry your own pens, pencils, and erasers to prevent delays.
- Don't Write Beyond Word Limits – Stick to the prescribed word count to save time and maintain clarity.
- Avoid Last-Minute Stress – Refrain from discussing the syllabus with peers before the exam to stay calm.
With proper time management and adherence to CBSE guidelines, students can confidently tackle the Biology paper.
