A significant highlight for this year's candidates is the direct pathway STET creates. Successfully clearing the STET 2025 exam grants a lifetime validity certificate, making candidates eligible to apply for the fourth phase of teacher recruitment, BPSC TRE-4, which is scheduled for December 2025.

The examination itself is slated to be conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format between October 4 and October 25, 2025. Understanding the Exam Structure and Eligibility
The Bihar STET exam is divided into two papers. Paper-1 is designed for those aiming to teach at the secondary level (Classes 9 & 10), while Paper-2 is for higher secondary level (Classes 11 & 12). The exam will feature 150 multiple-choice questions, with 100 questions based on the candidate's chosen subject and 50 questions assessing Teaching Art & General Aptitude.
