AFCAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility conditions:
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit (As of July 1, 2026)
Flying Branch: 20-24 years
Technical & Ground Duty Branches: 20-26 years
Note: Age relaxations apply for reserved categories as per government norms.
Educational Qualifications
- Flying Branch: Graduation (min. 60%) with Physics & Mathematics in 10+2.
- Technical Branch: Engineering degree (min. 60%) in relevant fields.
- Ground Duty Branches: Varies as per role (Graduation/Post-Graduation required).
- Exam Mode: Online (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Sections: General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude.
- Negative Marking: Yes (1 mark deduction for wrong answers)
Candidates who qualify for the written test will proceed to SSB Interview, Psychological Tests, Medical Examination, and Final Merit List Preparation.
