Renault India has launched the 2025 Renault Triber at a starting price of Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The versatile 7-seater MPV, which boasts over 90% localisation, has entered the market with major exterior updates, especially at the front.
Having garnered sales of almost 1.84 lakh units in its previous avatar, the new Triber is an essential model for Renault India, which has been struggling in the domestic market with low volumes. Apart from the 2025 Triber MPV, the carmaker also offers the Kwid hatchback and the Kiger compact SUV.
Talking about the exterior updates, the front fascia has been completely redesigned and now gets a new grille, which houses Renault's fresh logo. The sculpted hood adds to the sportiness.
The front sports new LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs and new LED fog lamps. At the rear, you will find updated LED taillamps and a new skid plate. The bumpers at the front and rear have been redesigned to accommodate all the changes.
Renault has updated the cabin, which now sports a dual-tone layout. Taking the centre stage is an 8-inch floating touchscreen display that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The instrument cluster is an LED unit. There is a new upholstery for the seats. Other notable features include LED cabin lighting, blacked-out door handles and cruise control.
The 2025 Triber boasts 21 standard safety features, including six airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, brake assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It gets front parking sensors, a first for any car in the Triber segment.
You can configure the seats of the new Triber to turn it into a 5-seater, 6-seater or 7-seater model. In the 5-seater mode, you get a segment-leading boot space of 625 litres.
Under the hood of the 2025 Triber is the same 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine from its predecessor. It delivers 72 PS of maximum power and 96 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. You can also opt for a government-approved CNG retrofitment kit with a three-year warranty.
Renault is offering the new Triber in four variants -- Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion. The following are the variant-wise 2025 Triber prices (ex-showroom).
