US President Donald Trump has once again slammed Canada over a controversial advertisement featuring former President Ronald Reagan, calling it “fake” and accusing Canada of cheating the United States. The move comes after Trump cancelled all trade negotiations with the country.

“CANADA CHEATED AND GOT CAUGHT!!! They fraudulently took a big buy ad saying that Ronald Reagan did not like Tariffs, when actually he LOVED TARIFFS FOR OUR COUNTRY, AND ITS NATIONAL SECURITY. Canada is trying to illegally influence the United States Supreme Court in one of the most important rulings in the history of our Country," Trump said on his Truth Social platform.

He added, “Canada has long cheated on Tariffs, charging our farmers as much as 400%. Now they, and other countries, can’t take advantage of the US any longer. Thank you to the Ronald Reagan Foundation for exposing this FRAUD. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"

In subsequent posts, Trump praised tariffs for strengthening the United States. “THE STOCK MARKET IS STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE BECAUSE OF TARIFFS!" he wrote.
