This accolade, announced on December 15, 2024, by Nripendra Misra, chairman of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, celebrates the temple’s exceptional commitment to safety and environmental management during its monumental construction.

Travelers drawn to Ayodhya’s spiritual allure now have another reason to marvel at this project—not just for its cultural significance but also as an example of modern construction excellence. In addition to the Sword of Honour, the project received further acknowledgment when Larsen & Toubro was presented with a ‘Golden Trophy’ by the National Safety Council of India for its exceptional safety measures during the temple's construction. This dual recognition underscores the Ram Temple’s unwavering focus on maintaining stringent safety protocols while balancing the demands of a heritage construction project.

Slated for completion by June 2025, the temple’s first and second floors, including its stunning Shikhar (spire), are nearing completion.
