Last year, Xiaomi introduced the Civi 4 Pro in China, which was later rebadged as the Xiaomi 14 Civi in India and other global markets. Moreover, the Geekbench listing of the purported smartphone has also been spotted, confirming its key chipset details.
Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro tipped to launch this month: Expected specifications
According to a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the purported Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro could make its debut in China later this month. Given that its predecessor, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, launched as Xiaomi 14 Civi in India last year, we can also expect the Civi 5 Pro to be unveiled as the Xiaomi 15 Civi in India in the coming months.
The tipster also adds that the smartphone will have a 1.5K quad narrow screen and will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, which was also used in the recently launched iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro and Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro could come with a 50MP telephoto lens for zoom images, like the Civi 4 Pro. Further, it is tipped to be backed by a 6,000mAh+ battery.
The same device has also emerged in Geekbench’s database, confirming the presence of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The CPU information mentioned in the listing also confirms its core clock details, with one prime core working at 3.21GHz, three CPU cores working at 3.0GHz, two CPU cores working at 2.80GHz, and the remaining two cores clocking at 2.02GHz. In Geekbench 6’s single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 1983 and 6874 points, respectively, and has 16GB of RAM running on Android 15.
