Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y19 5G smartphone in India, which is the latest smartphone in the company’s budget Y-series lineup. The smartphone will succeed the Vivo Y18, and some of its major highlights include a 90Hz display, AI-driven cameras, a big 5,500 mAh battery, and a durable design. The Y19 5G also has an IP64-rated build, which is claimed to protect against dust and water ingress.
Vivo Y19 5G: Price, availability
The Vivo Y19 5G has a starting price of Rs 10,499 for the base model with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. It is also available in 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations, priced at Rs 11,499 and Rs 12,999, respectively. The device comes in Titanium Silver and Majestic Green colour options.
The Vivo Y19 5G can be purchased via Flipkart, the Vivo India e-store, and all authorised retail partners. Prospective buyers can avail the 6GB + 128 GB variant with a 3-month no-cost EMI offer.

The Vivo Y19 5G comes with a 6.74-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It supports 840 nits of peak brightness, and the screen is also TÜV Rheinland certified to reduce blue light exposure, which helps in minimising eye strain. Under the hood, it packs the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a 13MP primary camera and a 0.08MP secondary camera. For selfies, it has a 5MP front-facing camera. The Y19 5G runs FunTouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box, and supports multiple AI features, including AI Erase, AI Photo Enhance, and AI Documents. Further, it is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with 15W wired charging support.
