Vivo is all set to launch the foldable Vivo X Fold 5 and the compact flagship Vivo X200 FE. The launch will take place on July 14 and both devices will be available on Flipkart and Vivo’s official website shortly after. With these launches, Vivo aims to challenge heavyweights like Samsung in the foldable space, while also offering a premium yet affordable option in the compact segment.

Vivo X Fold 5: Specifications
The Vivo X Fold 5 is a powerhouse foldable smartphone, designed to compete with the latest Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. It features a 6.53-inch cover screen and a large 8.03-inch inner display, both AMOLED panels with 120 Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. At just 217 grams and 9.2 mm folded, it’s one of the lightest and slimmest foldables on the market.
Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The phone is backed by a 6,000 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired and 40 W wireless charging. It also includes a Zeiss-tuned triple 50 MP rear camera setup, capable of 100x zoom, and dual 20 MP front cameras. Vivo has also added AI tools like Gemini Assistant, AI Magic Move, and AI Erase, along with a new tactile Shortcut button. The expected price is around Rs 1,49,999.
Vivo X200 FE: Specifications
For those who prefer a smaller phone without compromising on performance, the Vivo X200 FE offers a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and the same ultra-bright 4,500 nits peak brightness. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor, with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The 6,500 mAh battery supports 90 W fast charging, and the phone is rated IP68/IP69 for dust and water resistance.
Camera features include a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP telephoto lens with up to 100x zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide camera — all Zeiss-branded. It runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 and also supports Google’s Gemini AI Assistant. The X200 FE will be available in Amber Yellow, Forest Blue, and Luxe Grey, with expected pricing at Rs 54,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB model and Rs 59,999 for the 16 GB + 512 GB variant.
