Grand Theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto VI or GTA 6 is scheduled to release in Fall 2025, exclusively on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There are also rumors of the PS5 Pro coming out soon, which is expected to coincide with the release of the GTA 6, and should also support this much-awaited game.

However, according to video journalist Stephen Totilo, Sony has 118 million monthly users globally with half of them still using the Play Station 4 (PS4). So, with around 50 percent of Sony's PlayStation users still using the PS4, which lacks the necessary hardware to run GTA 6, these players might need to shift to the PS5 or miss out on playing this game.

While the PS5 Pro has not been officially announced by Sony yet, leaks suggest it could offer a superior gaming experience with upcoming gaming titles like GTA 6. As the game's launch date draws closer, Rockstar might be losing out on numerous PS users when the game is launched, as PS4 would still be a relevant gaming console even in late 2025.

If you currently own a PS4 and want to upgrade to PS5, you can currently buy the PS5 Slim model at a discounted price of Rs 49,990. The offer applies to the Standard Disc Edition of the PS5 Slim, which usually retails for Rs 54,990. The PS5 Slim Digital Edition is still available at its original price of Rs 44,990.
