Sony opens registrations for PlayStation Beta Program: Here are the requirements

Just like in past years, Sony has opened registrations for the Beta Program at PlayStation. But this time, you need to sign up for the PlayStation Beta only once to become a part of the beta tests for upcoming games on PS5 and PC.

The PlayStation Beta Program is available in all PlayStation Network regions. You can register for free for the PlayStation Beta program at playstation.com/beta-program-at-playstation/.

“A single registration for Beta Program at PlayStation will allow you to express interest in gaining beta access to test participating games for the PS5 console and PC, new PS5 console features, PlayStation App features, and even user experience features on PlayStation.com,” Sony said in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

Sony's Beta program at PlayStation: Requirements for players

To register for the PlayStation Beta program, players must meet the following requirements:

• "Players must have a valid account for PlayStation Network in good standing with a current email address. Accounts with restrictions or violations may not be eligible for participation. (An account with good standing means it “has not been suspended, and there have been no breaches to terms outlined in the PlayStation Network Terms of Service, which includes the Community Code of Conduct”)."


• "Players must live in the region where Beta Program at PlayStation is available".


• "Players must meet the legal age requirement for their region".

While registering for the PlayStation Beta, you’ll first need to fill out a registration form and agree to the terms of the Beta Program at PlayStation. Do note that submitting the form does not guarantee your selection for any PlayStation beta tests. If selected for the PS beta, you’ll be invited to join certain beta tests through email. Also, participation in the PlayStation Beta program is voluntary, and “you will not be compensated for your time or feedback unless explicitly stated”, as per Sony.
