Samsung's next folding phone, the Galaxy Z TriFold, which would be the company’s first commercial foldable smartphone with three panels, is expected to launch soon. The device is tipped to include a 10-inch main double-folding display and house a 6.5-inch outer screen. Samsung has already teased the phone recently in South Korea, and its US firmware testing is reportedly already in progress.

According to an Android Headlines report, unlocked firmware testing for the US model of the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold has started, identified as SM-F968U1. The initiation of this testing indicates that preparations for a US release are fully underway, with Samsung expected to release this triple foldable handset in both locked and unlocked variants. Moreover, it could also have a limited release in South Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan, and the UAE.

In terms of design and display, the Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to have a fully opened large 10-inch tablet-like screen, with a smaller 6.5-inch cover display, when fully folded. It will likely be powered by a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor backed by a 5,437mAh-rated battery.
