The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series is confirmed to launch soon, and the rumour mill is picking up steam, before its anticipated release. The flagship tablet series from Samsung is usually powered by a higher-end Qualcomm chipset in the past few years. However, things could change this time as the upcoming series is tipped to be powered by a MediaTek chip.

According to a new listing spotted on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench, the upcoming Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra could be powered by the MediaTek Dimesnisty 9300+ chipset. Earlier, the Galaxy Tab S10+ was also spotted on Geekbench with the same chipset, with Samsung expected to scrap the vanilla Tab S10. The listing also shows that the upcoming tablet will pack 12GB RAM and boot Android 14 out of the box.

Popular tipster Ice Universe also recently posted on X that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor is a high-end octa-core chip featuring four cores clocked at 2.0GHz, three cores with clock speed up to 2.85GHz, and a prime core with 3.4GHz speed. It supports up to LPDDR5T-9600 RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

Additionally, the Dimensity 9300+ scores 2,141 points in Geekbench's 6.3.0 single-core test and 5,533 points in the multi-core test. These high scores mean that it is a direct competitor to the current Qualcomm flagship chip, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
