Samsung Electronics today officially announced the expansion of its One UI 8 beta program to a broader range of Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Galaxy Z Flip6, with availability starting next week in Korea, the U.S., the U.K., and India.

Originally debuting with the Galaxy S25 series earlier this year, One UI 8 marks Samsung’s most intelligent and intuitive software experience yet. The beta program brings advanced multimodal capabilities and AI-driven features to a wider range of Galaxy smartphones and form factors, setting the stage for smarter, context-aware interactions across devices.

One UI 8 is designed around Galaxy AI, combining on-device intelligence with cloud-based processing to deliver seamless, personalised suggestions and real-time assistance. The update supports natural voice interactions, gesture-based controls, and a unified user interface that adapts to each form factor — whether foldable, flat, or wearable.

Samsung also introduced a hands-free Gemini activation feature for Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro users, allowing them to access Google’s Gemini AI assistant via voice or a long-press gesture. This integration extends the AI ecosystem beyond smartphones, offering greater utility on the go.
