Reliance Jio has updated its prepaid plan to offer complimentary JioHotstar subscription. While, the company has a lot of plans under the “Entertainment Plans” section, but only one among all comes with free JioHotstar subscription. The plan in question is Rs 949 prepaid plan and it is available to all Jio users. Apart from the free JioHotstar subscription, it offers access to calls, SMS and data too. Reliance Jio Rs 949 prepaid plan details
The Rs 949 plan comes with a validity of 84 days and provides 2GB of high-speed 4G data per day. Users also get unlimited access to Jio’s 5G network where available. In addition to data benefits, the plan includes unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day throughout the validity period.
Jio Hotstar subscription details
The most important part of the plan is the Jio Hotstar subscription. It’s a Mobile version, that costs Rs 149 per month. This plan allows users to stream live sports, movies, and Disney+ originals on a single mobile device. However, content is restricted to 720p resolution, and the subscription is ad-supported.
Other Hotstar subscription options
For users looking for higher-quality streaming, Jio Hotstar offers other plans. The Super plan, priced at Rs 299 for three months, enables 1080p streaming on mobile, web, and smart TVs with support for two devices. The Premium plan, priced at Rs 499 for three months, offers an ad-free experience and allows streaming in up to 4K resolution on four devices.

Surprisingly, there’s no postpaid plan – of Jio Plus – plans that comes with JioHotstar subscription. But, there are JioFiber and Jio AirFiber plans that include a JioHotstar subscription and here’s the complete list.
