Realme has introduced the new 320W SuperSonic fast charging technology. The company claims that this super-fast charging technology is safe and highly efficient for everyday use. This innovation is set to revolutionize charging for those who are always on the move. It was today unveiled at the 828 Fan Festival at Realme’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China.
Realme’s 320W charging technology: Key details
Realme is known for pioneering the fast-charging technology in the smartphone industry. Last year, the Chinese company introduced 240W fast charging, with its GT 3 smartphone. However, this 320W SuperSonic charge technology promises to be a game-changer, as it can fully charge a phone in four minutes and thirty seconds.
In just a minute, it can charge 26% battery, and in two minutes a phone can charge up to 50%. Realme called it a “4-minute miracle”, stating that charging a smartphone could take as much time as it takes to make a cup of coffee or play one song. Chase Xu, Vice President of Realme took to the stage at 828 Fan Festival to showcase the 320W SuperSonic Charge technology.
Simultaneously, Realme has also introduced a folded battery for smartphones with a rated capacity of 4,420mAh. This quad-cell battery incorporates four individual cells with simultaneous charging capabilities, and a 10% overall boost in charging compared to standard smartphone batteries.
The company claims that this folded battery mechanism allows it to maintain the slim profile of is smartphones. Realme also debuted an AirGap Voltage Transformer that claims to protect the smartphone battery in case of electrical faults like circuit breakdowns. This technology is also applied on the 320W charger and claims to achieve a thermal efficiency of 98%.
