Chinese smartphone and accessories maker Poco has launched its first tablet, the Poco Pad 5G in the Indian market today. The Poco Pad, which was earlier launched globally in May this year, now comes with 5G connectivity support in the country and comes with a huge 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it also has a big 10,000 mAh battery with 33W charging support.
Poco Pad 5G: Pricing, availability
The Poco Pad 5G has a starting price of Rs. 23,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 25,999. The tablet is offered in Cobalt Blue and Pistachio Green colour shades and will have its first sale on August 27 at 12 PM.
It will be exclusively available on Flipkart. The company has also mentioned that SBI, HDFC, and ICICI bank cardholders will be eligible for an instant Rs. 3,000 discount and an additional Rs 1,000 discount for students.
Poco Pad 5G: Specifications, features
The Poco Pad 5G has a 12.1-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels resolution) screen with a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. The display also has Dolby Vision and a TÜV Rheinland triple certification with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.
The storage can also be expanded up to 1.5TB via a dedicated microSD card slot. If we talk about optics, the Poco Pad 5G has a single 8MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. For selfies and video calls, it also has an 8MP front camera. It features a quad-speaker system, two microphones, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Further, Poco has packed a 10,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support on the tablet.
