Chinese smartphone giant Oppo is set to launch its Reno 13 series soon, which will be the successor to the Oppo Reno 12 lineup. It will likely include a base Oppo Reno 13 and an Oppo Reno 13 Pro variant with slightly upgraded specs. According to a recent post from the well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Reno 13 series is scheduled to launch on November 25 in China.
However, the tipster has mentioned that it’s a tentative date. Therefore, the date could change later. Recently, leaks and reports have hinted at the key specifications and features of the Reno 13 lineup including, display, chipset, and camera. Let us take a look at them.
Oppo Reno 13 series: Expected specifications
The Oppo Reno 13 Pro smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. Further, it will reportedly sport a 6.78-inch quad-curved LTPO OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, providing a high-quality viewing experience. In terms of optics, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro is tipped to get a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Further, the smartphone is expected to support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging with a 5900mAh battery pack. If we talk about software, both smartphones will boot with ColorOS 15, based on Android 15, out of the box.
With improved dust and water resistance, potentially surpassing the IP65 rating of the Reno 12 Pro, these phones are also expected to come with improved water and dust resistance alongside a metal middle frame and Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
