OnePlus 13 tipped to launch soon, likely to cost same as its predecessor

After launching the OnePlus 12 series at the start of 2024, OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus 13 soon. The flagship smartphone from OnePlus has been in the rumour mill for some time now but it now seems that the launch event might not be too far away. Popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo has claimed that the OnePlus 13 will be unveiled between October and November this year.

However, like the OnePlus 12 series, the global launch of the OnePlus 13 could happen early next year. The tipster also added that upcoming flagship phones like the Vivo X200 series, OPPO Find X8 series, Xiaomi 15, iQOO 1, Realme GT 7 Pro, and Redmi K80 series will be launched around the same timeline.

As per the tipster, the OnePlus 13 will be priced close to the OnePlus 12’s launch price. He also mentioned that upcoming handsets powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC or the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset will reportedly not see a substantial price increase when compared to their previous generation counterparts.

OnePlus could also ditch the circular camera ring module design on the upcoming OnePlus 13. However, we can expect a similar 50MP primary, 64MP telephoto, and 48MP ultrawide camera setup on the OnePlus 13. The front of the upcoming smartphone could have a ‘four-curved straight screen,’ with a flatter display.
