London-based consumer tech brand, Nothing, recently announced new products for its sub-brand CMF, which includes the Phone 2 Pro smartphone alongside a trio of earbuds: Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a. This follows the Nothing Phone 3a series, which was introduced in India last month. Reflecting the growing demand for its smartphones, the company has now claimed that it is the fastest-growing smartphone brand in India.
Successive quarterly growth for Nothing
At the CMF Phone 2 Pro and Buds 2 series launch event, Counterpoint Research Director Tarun Pathak revealed that in the first quarter of 2025, Nothing was the fastest-growing brand with a year-on-year (YoY) growth rate of 156%. This has also been the fifth successive quarter of growth for the company, as per Counterpoint.
Nothing’s CEO, Carl Pei, also posted about this achievement on the social media platform X. He responded to this tremendous growth in the Indian market by stating, “growth compounds. So does belief.” “Thank you to everyone building with us. We’re just getting started,” said Pei in a post on social media platform X.
After the launch of Nothing Phone 3a series and the latest CMF second generation devices, the UK-based smartphone brand is now expected to launch the Nothing Phone 3 in the coming months.
