New game based on Terminator 2: Judgment Day announced

The Terminator sci-fi universe is getting a new 2D action video game based on Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the highly regarded sequel to 1984’s Terminator. Titled Terminator 2D: No Fate, the 2D side-scroller action game is currently under development by Bitmap Bureau and will be published by Reef Entertainment.

Terminator 2D No Fate: Play as Sarah Connor, John Connor and the T-800

Since Terminator 2D: No Fate closely ties to T2: Judgment Day, you play as Sarah Connor (played by Linda Hamilton) and the T-800 (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) in arcade missions set in the ‘90s. You also get to play as an adult John Connor in the future. The leader of the human resistance will take on the ruthless metal machines in the Future Wars.

The game features the liquid metal Terminator model ‘T-1000’ (played by Robert Patrick) as one of the villains. As Judgment Day approaches, it is up to Sarah and the T-800 to stop Skynet’s plans from coming to fruition.
