Minecraft players worldwide are currently experiencing widespread disruptions, with server connection issues leading the complaints. According to data from Downdetector, user reports of problems have spiked sharply over the past few hours, suggesting a major global outage for one of the world’s most played games.

As per the outage chart, problem reports remained low through the early morning hours but began to rise sharply after 6 PM IST, peaking around 7:30 PM. The steep surge indicates a significant disruption in service, particularly affecting online play.

Issues users are facing with Minecraft

Among the reported issues, server connection problems account for 89% of complaints. This suggests that a majority of players are unable to connect to Minecraft’s online servers, preventing multiplayer gameplay or access to online content. A smaller share of users—6%—reported login issues, while 5% flagged gameplay-related problems, such as lag or in-game glitches.
