Microsoft has finally released Office 2024, which is a new "locked-in-time" update to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity apps for people who don't want to continuously use the Microsoft 365 versions. Moreover, this suite provides access to the core Office apps without requiring a subscription fee for a fixed period.
With Microsoft Office 2024, the company highlights a few changes in its suite of products. It has added new improvements in the search ability and you can even customize swipe left and right gestures for Mac. Additionally, we also get an accessibility checker to check emails for accessibility issues.
With the new PowerPoint, you can now insert the camera feed directly into your slides with narration, animations, transitions, and inking with a recording studio. If we talk about Microsoft Excel, it gets Dynamic charts with dynamic arrays and text and array functions within the app. Excel also has added a new IMAGE function that lets you add pictures to a workbook by downloading images from the web.
Microsoft Office 2024 is available in two editions, Office Home 2024 is priced at $149.99 and includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote for a single PC or Mac. On the other hand, Office Home & Business 2024 is priced at $249.99 and comes with Office Home 2024 apps with Outlook and also supports commercial use.
