Microsoft has revealed the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass for September 2024. The games include Star Trucker, Age of Mythology Retold, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, Riders Republic and Train Sim World 5.


  1. Star Trucker (Cloud, Console, and PC) – Available now

Star Trucker is a transportation/truck simulator set in infinite space. It is developed by a two-person independent studio called Monster and Monster and published by Raw Fury. In Star Trucker, you’ll get to drive a huge rocket-powered rig in space. You’ll haul cargo and scavenge for salvageable materials. Also, you are not the only trucker in space; there are others too whom you’ll get to interact with. Star Trucker is available on day one with Xbox Game Pass.

2. Age of Mythology: Retold (Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) –Available from September 4

Age of Mythology: Retold is a real-time strategy game from the makers of the Age of Empires franchise. It is developed with the combined might of World's Edge, Forgotten Empires, Tantalus Media, CaptureAge and Virtuos Games studios and published by Xbox Game Studios.

Age of Mythology: Retold is set in a mythical age where humans, gods and monsters coexist. The RTS game features gods from the Greek, Norse, Egyptian, and Atlantean pantheons. The game also features creatures like Centaurs, Trolls, Mummies and more.

To decimate your enemies, you can summon lightning storms, earthquakes and the Nidhogg dragon. To help your people, you can call upon the nourishing rains and protective Dryads. Age of Mythology: Retold offers multiple campaigns spread over 50 missions. The game is available on day one with Xbox Game Pass.
