iQOO has confirmed that its next flagship — the iQOO 15 — will launch in India next month, following its debut in China on October 20. The company has stated that the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and will run Android 16 with Origin OS 6 layered on top.
The device is equipped with a 7,000mAh battery. For gaming, it includes a dedicated Q3 chip that enables support for 144fps gameplay in select supported titles. Thermal management is handled by an 8K VC Dome cooling system designed to sustain performance during extended gaming or multitasking sessions.
The iQOO 15 is expected to feature a 6.85-inch 2K 8T LTPO display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a local peak brightness of up to 6,000 nits. These display parameters place the device in the segment of phones built for high-motion content and prolonged on-screen usage.
India confirmation
iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya confirmed on X that key specifications of the Indian model will match the Chinese variant, including the chipset and the updated software with Origin OS 6. Promotional material released by the brand has already begun circulating ahead of the launch.
With a combination of a high-capacity battery, a next-generation Qualcomm processor, and dedicated silicon for gaming responsiveness, the iQOO 15 is positioned to target users with performance-focused workloads and gaming as a primary use case.
The device is expected to be closely tracked after launch, especially given the brand’s approach of delivering high-spec phones in the flagship segment in previous generations. Pricing and exact sale timelines for India are yet to be announced.
