With the arrival of the OnePlus 13T (OnePlus 13s in India), there has been a strong demand for compact flagship smartphones, as most Chinese brands are now rumoured to launch such devices in the coming months. The Vivo X300, Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini, Oppo Find X9S, and OnePlus 15T are all expected to be introduced in the coming months, with big batteries, flagship hardware, and compact form factor. A new leak indicates that iQOO might also unveil a similar compact handset as a part of its upcoming iQOO 15 series with a high-capacity battery pack.
iQOO 15 Mini: Expected specifications
Through a new Weibo post, a Chinese tipster, Smart Pikachu, has revealed that iQOO and OnePlus might be launching their next compact flagship smartphone soon. Although the names of these devices are still not confirmed yet, leaks suggest that they could be the iQOO 15 Mini and the OnePlus 15T.
The tipster also claims that both these phones will offer flat displays with large 7,000mAh batteries. He further mentioned that while both compact phones will deliver impressive gaming performance, their bezels will not be ultra-thin like those seen on most recent flagship models. Previous reports have also hinted that these handsets could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC, which is confirmed to go official next month.
The iQOO 15 Mini is expected to be unveiled alongside the iQOO 15 Ultra next year, while the iQOO 15 could be launched in the coming months. OnePlus is also expected to unveil its next-generation flagship, the OnePlus 15, soon, with the OnePlus 15T tipped to release in early 2026.
