Infinix has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Infinix Zero 40 5G in India. It was unveiled in the global market last month and also has a GoPro mode that allows users to control their GoPro cameras with this smartphone. Other major highlights of the device include a 144Hz display, a 108MP main camera, an Always on Display, and 20W wireless charging support.
Infinix Zero 40 5G: Price, availability
The Infinix Zero 40 5G is available in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black colour options, which the company has co-created with WGSN. It has a starting price of Rs. 27,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model, whereas the 12GB + 512GB variant costs Rs. 30,999.
The Zero 40 5G will have its first sale on September 21 and as a part of the introductory launch offer, it will Rs 3,000 instant bank discount with select bank cards. This makes its effective starting price at Rs 24,999.
Infinix Zero 40 5G: Specs, features
The Infinix ZERO 40 5G comes with a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 10-bit curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. It has a peak 144Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC with 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
In terms of optics, the Zero 40 5G has a triple-camera setup with a 108MP primary OIS camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Up front, there’s a 50MP ultra-wide camera for selfies with 4K 60fps video recording support from both rear and front cameras.
The smartphone has a 5,000 mAh battery with 45W wired and 20W wireless charging support. It runs on XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 and is scheduled to get two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
