Indian government issues 'High' severity warning for Apple iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, Safari and other Apple products

CERT-In has issued a high-severity warning for multiple Apple products, citing vulnerabilities that may allow attackers to run arbitrary code, steal data, bypass security, and cause system disruption.

The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high-severity security warning for a wide range of Apple products, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Safari, tvOS, and Xcode. The advisory states that several vulnerabilities could allow attackers to execute arbitrary code, gain elevated privileges, access sensitive information, bypass security restrictions, or cause denial of service on affected devices.

According to CERT-In, the following Apple products running older software versions are impacted:

iOS and iPadOS versions prior to 26.1
(Affects iPhone 11 and later, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation and later, iPad Pro 11-inch 1st generation and later, iPad Air 3rd generation and later, iPad 8th generation and later, and iPad mini 5th generation and later)
