After its faulty software update bricked millions of Windows PCs, Texas-based cybersecurity technology company CrowdStrike has been trying to repair the damage caused. In a recent LinkedIn post, CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz has claimed that 97% of the Windows sensors that went offline during the global outage (said to be one of the biggest IT outages in history) are now back online and working properly. He did add that the cybersecurity company's work was not complete and it is trying to restore every impacted system.

In a lengthy LinkedIn post, the CrowdStrike CEO said: “I want to share that over 97% of Windows sensors are back online as of July 25. This progress is thanks to the tireless efforts of our customers, partners, and the dedication of our team at CrowdStrike. However, we understand our work is not yet complete, and we remain committed to restoring every impacted system.”
