GTA Online is gearing up for one of its most ambitious updates yet, with “A Safehouse in the Hills” arriving on December 10 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The highlight is a long-requested feature: luxury mansions in the most exclusive parts of Los Santos. These aren’t simple cosmetic upgrades but fully functional criminal headquarters built to give high-level players new ways to expand their operations.

The new mansions, sold through Prix Luxury Real Estate, come loaded with high-end amenities. Players get Trophy Cabinets to showcase achievements, a private Salon, pet Kennels, and an upgraded Garage featuring artistic lighting. Each property also includes an AI Assistant capable of managing tasks and offering Production Boosts across various businesses. Optional security upgrades, an Indoor Car Podium, a Vehicle Workshop, and an Armory round out the premium add-ons available to owners.

Alongside real estate, Rockstar is introducing fresh missions centred around stopping a mass surveillance network. These missions are open to all players, whether they purchase a mansion or not. The update also adds new vehicles, including the Vapid FMJ MK V supercar, more Hao’s Special Works compatible cars, drift-tuned variants, and a selection of Law Enforcement Vehicles. The Missile Lock-On Jammer is now supported by an even wider range of vehicles, including certain non-weaponised aircraft, expanding tactical options for players who prefer a stealthier approach.

The game world will get new Freemode events as well, but the biggest creative addition is the Mission Creator. This tool allows players to craft and publish their own missions using advanced objectives, hand-placed characters, and flexible gameplay mechanics. Rockstar has also updated its Community Resources to keep the environment fair as player-made content becomes more central to the experience.
