Google recently unveiled the Pixel 9 with the latest Tensor G4 SoC and upgraded features. It also comes with dual cameras, an IP68 rating, and more. There are two more contenders in its price range— the OnePlus 12 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. These smartphones also share a lot of similarities. Let us see which one’s better.
Google Pixel 9 vs Apple iPhone 15 vs OnePlus 12: Display
The Google Pixel 9 comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a pixel density of 442 PPI and 2700 nits peak brightness. It also has HDR 10+ certification and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
On the other hand, the iPhone 15 offers a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED panel and can reach a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It has Ceramic Shield Glass protection. However, the iPhone 15 lacks fast refresh rate support.
The OnePlus 12 comes with a 6.82-inch curved LTPO AMOLED display with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It has support for up to 4500 nits of peak brightness and has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Google Pixel 9 vs Apple iPhone 15 vs OnePlus 12: Performance
As we mentioned earlier, the Pixel 9 P is powered by Google’s latest Tensor G4 chip along with the Titan M2 security chip. It has 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 is powered by the A16 Bionic chipset with 6GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. Both smartphones come with up to seven years of software support.
The OnePlus 12 is powered by the latest Qualcomm flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, with up to 512GB of storage options available. It is currently running on Android 14 with Oxygen OS 14 skin on top. OnePlus has promised that the phone will receive four years of OS updates.

The Google Pixel 9 has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50MP primary camera and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. There’s also a 10.5MP selfie snapper. The smartphone comes with multiple AI camera features such as Best Take, Super Res Zoom, Add Me, and more, which are exclusive to Pixel 9 devices.
The Apple iPhone 15 also has a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. The primary camera also has OIS (optical image stabilization) support) and can record up to 4K 60FPS videos. The device also has a 12MP front camera.
The OnePlus 12 Max has a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto with up to 3x optical zoom support, and a 48MP ultrawide camera. It has a 32MP front camera and it’s the only phone out of the three to come with a dedicated telephoto camera.

The Google Pixel 9 comes with a 4700 mAh battery that supports 27W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 has a much smaller 3349 mAh battery with 20W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The OnePlus 12 has the biggest battery capacity out of the three, as it comes with a 5500 mAh battery pack with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Google Pixel 9 is available for Rs 79,999, whereas the iPhone 15 starts at Rs 69,999. The OnePlus 12 is the most affordable among these devices and has a starting price of Rs 64,999.
