AI-generated content has become quite common now amidst the growing popularity of various AI tools. Therefore, it has become really difficult to curate and determine the authenticity of the content we see every day on the internet. To help combat this issue, Google has integrated a double-checking feature using its search engine with the help of the Gemini AI chatbot.

When Gemini AI generates a response to a query, users will see a new toggle labeled ‘double-check response’ to confirm that the content is AI-generated. It also allows users to cross-verify the information generated by the chatbot, using a mix of Google Search and other sources.

Google is also using a unique colour-coding system so that users can assess the accuracy of Gemini’s responses. Gemini users will now see a new ‘G‘ button themed with the traditional Google colours. After clicking the button, you will get these types of responses.
